The student organization Food Recovery Network is sponsoring an online donation drive for Union Gospel Mission, one of the nonprofit organizations it serves. FRN hopes students, faculty and staff will want to participate. The mission has wish lists at Amazon, Target and Walmart. Click on the links or use the QR code in the graphic below to purchase items for the shelter as a donation. These items can be directly delivered to the shelter by entering this address: 1321 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76102. If you would prefer to drop off donated items from the wish list on campus, please reach out to Rachel Ellman at rachel.ellman@tcu.edu or Kate Moseley at kate.moseley@tcu.edu.
TCU’s Food Recovery Network works closely with local shelters, rescue missions and nonprofits to donate excess food from TCU kitchens that would otherwise go to waste. TCU’s most prevailing values are applied through this program as members become truly responsible citizens in the community by taking an initiative against hunger. FRN membership is open to all TCU students, regardless of major. For more information, go here.
