About the College
The Louise Dilworth Davis College of Science & Engineering is the second-largest TCU college, it is dedicated to shaping the future of science and technology through innovative education and research. The college equips future scientists and engineers with 39 programs of study that range from engineering and nutritional sciences to chemistry and ranch management. With small class sizes and hands-on learning, students gain access to state-of-the-art laboratories and work alongside expert faculty. More than 50% of undergraduate students are involved in research, and the college holds a 96% acceptance rate into medical schools facilitated by the Pre-Health Professions Institute, twice the national average. Due to high demand for these majors, the college was formed in 2000 from the previously named AddRan College of Arts and Sciences. CSE faculty scholars teach more than 2,300 undergraduate students and 130 graduate students per year. Through the years, new institutes, programs and initiatives have evolved, which support the mission and character of the college.
