Cayla Prophater is a biology major, Pre-Health student, NCAA swimmer, president of the TCU Pre-Dental Club, and now, a published author. Her children's book “Stella the Shark Has a Toothache” was inspired from integral opportunities in and out of the classroom.

Three extraordinary health care professionals that were the product of TCU’s College of Science & Engineering Pre-Health Professions Institute were featured on the latest in a series of hand-painted murals celebrating TCU's 150th Anniversary. Serving as leaders at the individual and community level in their current roles, these alumni are fittingly represented as larger-than-life in painted portraits in downtown Chicago.

Pre-Health Professions Institute Hosts Holiday Party for Cancer Care Services

The Pre-Health Professions Institute hosted a holiday party for Cancer Care Services to support local patients and their families on Dec. 4 in the BLUU. Pre-Health students volunteered to greet guests and act as Santa's helpers. The first 20 families to arrive received gift bundles, and guests enjoyed hot chocolate, snacks, crafts, pictures with Santa, custom balloon art, face painting and a special visit from SuperFrog.
