The College of Science & Engineering welcomes a new member to its External Advisory Board this fall. Charis Ann Bennett has spent the last 30 years in leadership roles in various organizations, focusing on supporting science, art and literacy in public schools, national and international care and relief efforts, children’s advocacy, symphony guild and women’s groups.

In the lab, TCU physics professor, Zygmunt (Karol) Gryczynski, focuses on fluorescence spectroscopy, biomedical diagnostics, forensic, drug development/delivery, and nanophotonics. In his free time, however, Gryczynski is a pickleball phenom. He shares a little about his journey in the sport.
