2023 Insight Into Diversity Inspiring Programs Award

CSE's STEM Scholar Program has been recognized for the third time with the Inspiring Programs in STEM Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine.

2021 Insight Into Diversity Inspiring Programs Award

For the second time in its short history, CSE’s STEM Scholar Program has been recognized with the Inspiring Programs in STEM Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the largest and oldest diversity and inclusion publication in higher education.

2019 Insight Into Diversity Inspiring Programs Award

After only one year, CSE’s STEM Scholar program was honored by INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine for encouraging and assisting students traditionally underrepresented in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, including students of color, women, and first-generation college students.

Experimental Projects to Impact the Community (EPIC) Grant

To date, three STEM Scholars have received the EPIC Grant, a $2,500 award provided by the College of Science & Engineering to students who create programs that make an epic impact on their local community.

Dean’s Recognition of Professional Development in Science and Engineering

STEM Scholars have been honored by the College of Science and Engineering and the Center for Career and Professional Development for their dedicated pursuit of professional development through participation in the careers in science and engineering.
