The First-Generation College Student Day Celebration is just around the corner. TCU has been supporting first-generation college students through its TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) since 1997. The College of Science & Engineering is collaborating with the TRIO SSS office to celebrate this nationally recognized day that was intended to act as a first step toward greater awareness of the challenges first-generation students face. This year’s celebration will be held on Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Frog Fountain and is open to CSE faculty and staff, as well as first-generation students.

Attendees will receive treats and have the opportunity to participate in giveaways and interact with other first-gen students. Learn more about the Center for First-Generation Student Success and Trio Student Support Services.
