The CSE was formed in 2000 after a split from the former AddRan College of Arts and Sciences. Faculty scholars in the CSE teach more than 1,700 undergraduate students and 120 graduate students per year. Through the years, new center, institutes, programs and initiatives have evolved, which each support the mission and character of the College.

Through the Office of the Dean, Vectors is the collaborative effort between marketing, career consulting and fundraising, which directs consulting and fundraising, which directs constituents toward resources across the College and beyond.
