Steven G. Cole Scholar in Experimental Psychology
The Steven G. Cole Scholar in Experimental Psychology is an award given in memory of Dr. Steven G. Cole, who retired after more than 30 years of service to TCU in the Department of Psychology and served as both Department Chair and Director of Graduate Studies. The goal of the award, presented once a year, is to encourage interest in pursuing a career in Experimental Psychology. Students eligible for the award include those who are current undergraduate seniors in psychology or neuroscience in the Department of Psychology who have applied to, been accepted into, and committed to attend a Ph.D. program at a different institution in Neuroscience, Learning, Cognitive, Developmental, or Social Psychology. The first recipient, in 2017, was Maggie Kleiser.
