Get Involved
Our students and faculty are involved in varieties of research and community engagement projects, making positive impacts on education and the environment.
Undergraduate Research:
Our students work with faculty in their research projects to gain invaluable hands-on skills and experience. Students are encouraged to develop their independent research project under the guidance of TCU faculty and have opportunities to get research funding up to $1,500 through the Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC).
Community Outreach/Engagement:
We promote academic and social growth by becoming mentors to local students in Fort Worth neighborhoods. For example, we engage teachers and students from local schools in the bat monitoring program. We take care of the earth through outdoor projects in collaboration with local communities and organizations. Also, our students can benefit from the TCU’s INVOLVED Programs which provide meaningful local, national and international community service opportunities all year round.
